is DROP a good idea?
I know that many of you have scored less in your entrance examinations this year and have the dilemma that "whether i should take an engineering college this year or drop an year and prepare again for good engineering colleges like IITs or NITs or good state colleges."
I have written this article to clear your confusion. So, please read the article written below very carefully. It takes only five minutes!
First of all!, listen to your heart and be ready to follow your interest without any fear or pressure!
What is more important in life is your approach to take on challenges and how you solve it.
"For those, who are really genuinely passionate for good engineering colleges like IITs or NITs or good state colleges and have not scored better this year, I recommend you all to take one attemptfor IIT-JEE and give your best.(don't worry about age, IITs or NITs are great colleges for B.Tech). The key thing to notice is that you all have one attempt left for IIT-JEE.(which is very prestigious) Since you have one attempt left for IITs or NITs or good state colleges , So, doing engineering from any crap private college doesn't makes sense."
"For those people, whose self doubts them too much! Please! don't drop!, until and unless you are dead sure that you will score well next year and are ready to study hard another year. If Yes! you are really ready to study hard another year, then be sure and confident to drop, if not, then take a good stream in any recognized private college and score well in that college.
Please note that "IITs or NITs only give you a good platform to do something better with your life but they are not the only Institutes that do that. Many people fail even after entering into IITs and many people do very good in their life not being attached to IIT."
So, the final decision lies in your hands! Also, Just keep the below essentials in mind.
"Always stay hungry to learn new things. Learn from your mistakes and failure. Never waste your time. Stop wishing to change the past as it never will. Live in present. Plan and think about your future once in a while but don't worry a lot about it. Stay positive, stay healthy and enjoy life."
"Try to give your 100% without thinking of end results. Results are beyond your control but if you have given your 100% then whatever is the result that is your best after taking into account your destiny, labor and caliber."
"Never disappoint from failures of your life. Success and failure are the two sides of the same coin. Take lesson from failure. Even if you fail 100 times start again with the same enthusiasm and hard work because this new start incorporates lessons learned from your past 100 failures."
"In life always compete with yourself and no one else. Extend your limits, go beyond it and be limitless!! "
"Life is just like a boxing match. Defeat is declared when you refuse to stand again."
